I did a meticulous search for our next used Ford Explorer. My search led to three in Middle Tennessee. I asked my wife what color she wanted; she said anything but white; that left one—at Benton Nissan in Columbia. When we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly salesman we spoke to on the phone (we called to ensure it was still in stock), Corey Jones. The Explorer looked great. But when we drove it, a rattle began when we reached higher speeds. At first, they thought it was weather stripping in the door; it wasn’t. Ultimately, to spare boring details, they researched and found that a bolt could come loose, causing the rattle. They tightened it—no more rattle. And we now have an Explorer we’re elated to own. Thank you, Corey and Benton Nissan, for working with us and making a typically unenjoyable process tolerable.
